Anassa Suites is a newly built apartment complex situated on the southeast corner of Karpathos. It’s a beautiful and quiet place that will allow its guests to fully relax without having to endure the hectic life of the crowded towns, nor the busy hotels. The Anassa Suite complex is comprised of 13 fully equipped apartments that are carefully and intricately designed to accommodate a luxurious and relaxing lifestyle; each apartment has a maximum capacity of 4 people. Finally, the complex has a swimming pool of its own that overlooks the crystal blue waters of Amoopi bay.
Amoopi bay is comprised of 3 beaches, Big Amoopi, small Amoopi and Votsalakia beach. The first 2 beaches have crystal blue waters, golden sand and shallow waters that go on for 100 meters. Votsalakia beach is a beach with stone nurtured for centuries to make them smooth as silk, votsalakia beach also has a lot of sea life which makes it perfect for snorkeling. Around the area of Amoopi there are dozens of respectable restaurants and a couple bars where you could drink your cocktails at night.
Pigadia is the main town of Karpathos, that’s where the most restaurants are with different cousines ranging from traditional food to seafood. Additionally there are plenty of cafeterias to enjoy your coffee along the boulevard and also cocktail and bars to experience the Greek nightlife. Karpathos is comprised of 12 villages and too many to count beaches along its coastline, so a car or scooter to explore the wild and untamed nature of Karpathos is greatly advised. Including to the villages there is the village of Olympos with traditions untouched for over 300 years; inhabitants of that village still wear the traditional costumes daily, a unique experience that should not be missed!
